Job Description:

We are looking for a CIT and Indirect Taxes Manager to join our Tax Department, based in Athens, Greece. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the Group’s tax compliance in Greece, providing strategic guidance and support on direct and indirect tax matters. You will lead the “Indirect Taxes” team and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee timely and accurate fulfillment of all obligations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Preparing and submitting Income Tax, VAT, and other indirect tax returns for the Parent Company and major subsidiaries in Greece
  • Reviewing and filing VAT returns (monthly VAT declarations, Intrastat, refund requests), withholding taxes, and other special taxes
  • Monitoring and updating the tax registry (new business activities, Board changes, new installations)
  • Supporting tax audits and liaising with external auditors for annual tax certifications
  • Driving compliance initiatives related to myData obligations and overseeing submissions via SAP
  • Providing tax advice on issues arising from daily business operations
  • Leading and developing the team to ensure timely and accurate completion of responsibilities
  • Supporting income tax and deferred tax calculations for interim and annual financial statements

Requirements:

  • University degree in Economics or related field
  • Strong knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and all types of tax returns
  • First-class signature rights (ability to sign all types of company tax returns)
  • Experience with SAP and analytical skills
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role
