Lead the visual storytelling of food across all platforms, elevating brand narratives through compelling video and still imagery. Job Responsibility:
Design and execute lighting setups tailored to food styling for optimal texture, color, and mood
Operate camera equipment and direct on-set composition to achieve brand-aligned aesthetics
Set up and operate grip equipment safely and efficiently during shoots
Collaborate with food stylists, prop stylists, creative directors, and test kitchen staff to bring culinary stories to life
Maintain and manage production equipment, ensuring readiness and safety
Stay current with trends in food videography, lighting techniques, and camera technology
Capture food imagery with still cameras when needed
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in professional videography
Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Cinematography, Photography, or related field
Proven expertise in lighting design for food shoots, including natural light simulation and studio setups
Advanced knowledge of camera systems (e.g., RED, ARRI, Canon), lenses, and grip equipment
Strong understanding of composition and visual storytelling
Experience working in fast-paced production environments with cross-functional teams
Portfolio showcasing food videography and still photography with emphasis on lighting and texture
Ability to lead shoots independently and troubleshoot on set
Nice to have:
Familiarity with motion control rigs and macro videography
Experience with post-production workflows including color grading and LUTs
Knowledge of food styling and prop styling best practices
Comfortable working in both studio and on-location environments
Strong communication and leadership skills
Basic proficiency in audio recording
Basic proficiency in video editing
