Job Description:

CIB Portfolio Manager for CIB Markets Counterparty Credit Management team responsible for underwriting, grading, and ongoing monitoring of institutional client types including non-bank financial institutions, regulated funds, hedge funds, and private equity funds

Job Responsibility:

Participate in monitoring, documenting, underwriting, and reacting to the credit quality of an assigned portfolio of loans
Identify opportunities for process improvements
Review and analyze business, operational, or technical assignments
Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
Present recommendations for resolving complex situations
Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders
Processing new or changes to limits
Coordinating requests with Risk
Reporting new business flows
Inputting credit limits into Wells Fargo Risk System
Performing initial/interim/annual underwriting

Requirements:

2+ years of CIB Portfolio Management experience or equivalent
2+ years of credit risk experience in a financial institution
Knowledge of capital markets and counterparty credit risk
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
Demonstrated commitment to risk management and core values of the organization
Personal ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment
CA/CFA/FRM or a BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field

Nice to have:

Experience with Desk Limit Program (DLP) and Agent Lending Disclosure (ALD) Management
Knowledge of Asset Backed Financing and Secondary Loan Trading product lines
Experience with Securities Borrowing/Lending Desk and Repo under ALD
