We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Altcourse, working as a CIAG Advisor. This role is offered on a permanent Full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Hold a Level 4 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification (or work towards in-post and achieve within 12 months)
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
  • Hold a CIAG Qualification
  • Have relevant experience of delivering careers guidance, using guidance tools, conducting assessments and supporting learning of individuals and groups in line with Matrix and Ofsted expectations
  • Have experience of motivating and inspiring disadvantaged individuals to set and achieve ambitious career goals
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to support individuals to realise their goals and continuously improve the service
