The Chinese Restaurant Manager (Jinjing Ge Manager) oversees high-end restaurant operations to meet Michelin/Black Pearl standards, leads team training, manages guest relations and premium events, and ensures compliance with regulations and accreditation requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring service, cuisine, and ambiance consistently meet Michelin and Black Pearl standards
Supervise kitchen and front-of-house coordination, optimize workflows, and continuously elevate guest experiences
Implement strict cost control systems, manage inventory, procurement, and waste with precision
Recruit, train, and lead a high-caliber service team, fostering a professional, collaborative, and positive environment
Design training programs to deepen the team’s knowledge of cuisine, wine pairing, service etiquette, and brand culture
Identify and nurture future talent to build a sustainable team structure
Maintain relationships with key guests, handle special requests, and oversee the execution of premium private dining events
Analyze guest feedback to drive service improvements and create personalized dining experiences
Collaborate with the marketing team on curated events to enhance brand influence and guest loyalty
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations, and successfully pass inspections and anonymous reviews
Coordinate all activities related to Michelin, Black Pearl, and other accreditation assessments
Requirements:
8+ years in high-end restaurant management, including at least 3 years in a Michelin-starred, Black Pearl-awarded, or five-star hotel Chinese dining establishment
Prior experience in leading or participating in award accreditation processes is highly preferred
Proficient in full-cycle restaurant operations, with strong skills in cost control, data analysis, and marketing strategy
Deep knowledge of Chinese culinary culture and luxury service protocols, with expertise in ingredients, wine, and tea
Fluent in English and Chinese (required for international guest interaction)
Meticulous and detail-obsessed, with an exceptional eye for quality and aesthetics
