Job Description

The China E-commerce Distribution Manager will be fully responsible for logistics and warehouse management for the sale of consumer medical devices through digital channels (such as JD Health, Tmall Health, other emerging platforms, and cross-border platforms). The position aims to build an efficient, compliant, and scalable distribution network, and drive rapid growth and an exceptional user experience for e-commerce operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate closely with the E-commerce Sales Director to understand e-commerce growth plans and develop complementary logistics and distribution strategies
  • Plan and expand an efficient distribution network, balancing key product control and customer experience through a combination of company-owned warehouses and third-party logistics (3PL)
  • Conduct feasibility analyses for distribution network siting and layout based on market demand, consumer density, regulatory constraints, and other factors
  • Oversee logistics fulfillment, inventory management, and returns processing for platforms including Tmall and JD.com
  • Supervise end-to-end e-commerce logistics operations, covering every stage from order fulfillment to customer returns
  • Ensures logistics responsiveness during major sales events (e.g., Double 11, 618) and new product launches
  • Manages third-party logistics and transportation carriers, including selection, negotiation, contract management, and performance monitoring
  • Collaborates with IT, e-commerce platforms, marketing, and other teams to drive seamless system integration (ERP/WMS/API)
  • Support testing and service customization for new channels and markets to facilitate business expansion
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including goods receiving, sorting, stacking, picking, shipping, and internal transfers
  • Conduct regular warehouse inspections and 5S management to ensure organized, safe, and orderly goods storage
  • Monitor warehouse temperature/humidity and implement fire/theft prevention measures to maintain storage-compliant environments
  • Optimize storage layout to ensure adequate clearance for safe access and proper stacking distances
  • Conduct daily/scheduled inventory counts to verify physical stock against records and promptly correct discrepancies
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment rates, delivery timeliness, and return rates to continuously optimize processes
  • Promptly address and resolve unexpected issues during distribution to maintain customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in logistics, supply chain management, warehouse management, or related fields
  • 3–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
  • preference given to candidates with e-commerce logistics experience
  • experience in the medical device, fast-moving consumer goods, or healthcare industries is a plus
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with 3PL management, warehouse operations processes, and e-commerce platform logistics
  • Proficient in using ERP/WMS systems, etc.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, high execution capability, excellent communication skills, ability to adapt quickly to changes, and capable of independent thinking and proactive work advancement
