Lead the Future of Compute in One of the World’s Most Strategic Markets. HPE is seeking a China Sales Leader - Compute — a highly visible, business-critical leadership role with full accountability for strategy, growth, and profitability of the Compute portfolio across China. This is not just a sales leadership role. This is a General Manager position, responsible for end-to-end P&L, Go-To-Market strategy, and long-term business leadership for Compute in one of HPE’s most complex and high-impact geographies. As a core member of the China Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will shape HPE’s Compute success today — and define its future.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the entire Compute P&L for China
  • Lead the Compute business, product strategy, and GTM execution across the country
  • Drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and market leadership
  • Build, inspire, and lead high-performing sales, category, and presales teams
  • Act as a strategic advisor to China and Global leadership
  • Full accountability for revenue, margin, expense, and operating profit across the Compute portfolio in China
  • Define and execute the China Compute business strategy
  • Lead investment, pricing, resource allocation, and portfolio lifecycle decisions
  • Own the Compute GTM strategy, sales motion, and execution across direct and indirect channels
  • Lead category management, specialists, and presales functions country-wide
  • Drive pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and disciplined sales execution
  • Actively engage in complex, high-value, multi-BU deals
  • Build trusted relationships with CXO-level customers (CEO, CFO, COO, CIO)
  • Orchestrate major enterprise engagements and executive negotiations
  • Position HPE as a long-term strategic partner
  • Provide structured customer feedback, competitive insights, and market intelligence to global teams
  • Build and lead a best-in-class Compute leadership team

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology sales
  • 8+ years leading high-performing sales organizations at scale
  • Proven success owning large quotas and complex P&L responsibilities
  • Experience across multiple sales motions, portfolios, and customer segments
  • Strong background in Compute / Infrastructure / Data Center solutions is mandatory
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial and financial judgment
  • Deep understanding of sales methodology, forecasting, and GTM execution
  • Ability to navigate market, regulatory, political, and economic complexity
