Job Description:

Chiller Rehanger - Dept 313 - Belgravia (Nights). Pay Rate: $16.85 per hour (Additional $.20 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am).

Job Responsibility:

  • Transfer tubs of product that is ready to be aged from the line to a pallet
  • Shovel ice into tubs, attach lid and stacked tubs onto pallet
  • Retrieve empty tub from a stack of tubs and place under a chute on the line
  • Pull lever to fill tub with breast meat
  • Transfer pallet of product from staging area to the aging room utilizing an electric pallet jack
  • Rehang birds from a conveyor line, hanging both legs into shackles at a rate of 23 birds per minute

Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8+hrs) on concrete/steel platform
  • Must be able to use small hand held tools such as knives and scissors
  • Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting and lifting up to 70 pounds
  • Able to work in a cold, warm or wet environment
  • Able to work around moving equipment

  • Roll produced tubing onto reels and place and secure on mobile rack for storage
  • Transport enclosed mobile rack to staging area
  • Calibrate, adjust and operate various product monitoring machines as necessary
  • Clean and maintain vacuum filters, breaker plates, extruder pin, screen plates and related equipment
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance such as adjustments, replacement of machine parts, cleaning and lubrication while supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
  • Perform scheduled quality checks (using various types of machinery and hand held measurement devices), disposition product, identify any deviations that may occur and take the appropriate action to include stopping production on the machine if necessary
  • Navigate the computerized Production Operating Management System (POMS) to access, manage and document batch information throughout the production process
  • Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur
