The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail, particularly in supermarkets, with proven leadership and management experience, ready to take full responsibility for the department. Key Responsibilities: Lead with Purpose: Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations of the Chilled and Frozen Foods department. Drive Success: Manage inventory, achieve financial targets, and ensure product quality and presentation. Empower Your Team: Train and develop staff while fostering a culture of health and safety. Customer Focused: Ensure exceptional service and support our team in staying informed about products and promotions. The successful applicant will have: Have the ambition to be an inspiring and effective leader Have an understanding of financial KPI's Strong communication skills at all levels of the organisation Initiative and an eye for detail Minimum 3 years of Retail experience, specifically in supermarkets Strong computer skills and a knack for problem-solving.
