Job Description:

Be part of a team empowering children and young people to reach their goals and help build a better future. Multiple casual positions available with potential to move to Part Time. Various shifts to ensure work life balance including days, evenings, sleep overs and weekends.

Job Responsibility:

Build meaningful connections with youth through mentorship and guidance
Develop and implement engaging programs that foster personal growth
Provide emotional support and a listening ear to help young people navigate challenges
Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
Utilise personal experience to inspire and connect with young individuals
Support and encourage children and young people with Dual Diagnosis including Trauma based behaviour to feel safe and secure to build trusting relationships/connections

Requirements:

Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care) or equivalent or working towards
Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State)
Passionate about human rights and creating positive change
Empathetic and compassionate with a keen understanding of diverse experiences
Excellent communication skills
Enthusiastic team player eager to collaborate and inspire
Availability for 24/7 rotating roster including weekends & sleepover shifts

Nice to have:

No experience but willing to study Cert 4 Child, Youth & Family
Currently studying and trying to get a start in the industry
