Are you a compassionate and experienced individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with challenging behaviours and complex needs? We are actively recruiting for temporary Children's Residential Workers to support various residential homes across the Welshpool area. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain diverse experience, work in different locations, and enjoy unparalleled flexibility to choose your shifts, fitting seamlessly into your lifestyle. About the Role: Our clients are well-established residential homes providing safe, nurturing, and structured environments. As a Children's Residential Worker, you will be crucial in supporting these individuals to navigate their unique challenges, develop essential life skills, and achieve their full potential. This rewarding work requires resilience, patience, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of young people. You will be responsible for creating a supportive atmosphere, implementing care plans, and managing challenging behaviours with a calm and professional approach. Shift Patterns Available: We offer a variety of shift patterns to accommodate your preferences, including: Day shifts: Providing essential support during waking hours. Long days with sleep-ins: Offering continuous care and supervision, including overnight stays. Waking nights: Ensuring a safe and secure environment throughout the night. Ongoing contracts: For those seeking more consistent and long-term placements. Important Requirement: It is imperative that you have experience of supporting children and young people who have challenging behaviours and complex needs in a residential setting. What We Offer: In return for your invaluable skills and dedication, we offer competitive pay rates ranging from £13.00 to £18.00 per hour, plus: Weekly accrued holidays: Allowing you to enjoy well-deserved time off. Pension scheme: Contributing to your future financial security. A dedicated and experienced consultant: Providing ongoing support, guidance, and access to a wide range of opportunities.
