We are actively recruiting for temporary Children's Residential Workers to support various residential homes across the Welshpool area. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain diverse experience, work in different locations, and enjoy unparalleled flexibility to choose your shifts, fitting seamlessly into your lifestyle. Our clients are well-established residential homes providing safe, nurturing, and structured environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting children and young people to navigate their unique challenges, develop essential life skills, and achieve their full potential
  • Creating a supportive atmosphere
  • Implementing care plans
  • Managing challenging behaviours with a calm and professional approach
  • Providing essential support during waking hours
  • Offering continuous care and supervision, including overnight stays
  • Ensuring a safe and secure environment throughout the night

Requirements:

  • Experience of supporting children and young people who have challenging behaviours and complex needs in a residential setting
  • Must be drivers with a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle
  • NVQ 3 in health and social care
  • Be able to manage challenging situations
