Job Description

Join a rewarding role providing 1:1 care for a young person with a spinal cord injury in their family home. You'll play a vital part in ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence, supporting them to enjoy everyday activities like reading, watching films, and listening to music.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide 1:1 care for a young person with a spinal cord injury in their family home
  • Ensure safety, comfort, and independence
  • Support everyday activities like reading, watching films, and listening to music
  • Personal care, bowel management, and catheter care
  • Driving to appointments and outings
  • Supporting daily routines and interests

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to a vehicle
  • Confident, compassionate, and reliable
  • Empathy and enthusiasm
  • Ability to build strong relationships and deliver high-quality, person-centred care

Nice to have

Animal lover (family has a friendly pet dog)
