Job Description:

This is a very important and rewarding role. You will make a real difference in providing care and support to a family. The child lives with his parents and siblings in a busy and vibrant family home. You will have full nurse-led training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various areas. We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Working in the family home of a young child
  • ensuring the safety and comfort of a 1 year old child
  • providing PEG feed support
  • suction
  • saturation monitoring
  • personal care
  • manual handling
  • seizure management

Requirements:

Experience within a care role is not essential as full training will be provided
