At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. KidStrong is a milestone accelerator for kids walking through 11 years old. We help parents discover their child’s superpowers and build future-ready kids who are confident making friends running the playground and raising their hands high in the classroom. KidStrong is a private child development training center focused on brain, physical & character development for ages walking through 11 years old. KidStrong offers a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by professionals.
Job Responsibility:
Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, age groups range from roughly 12 months old to 11 years old
Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team
Greet students as well as the parent(s)/guardian(s) individually prior to and at the beginning of class
Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading the class
Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises
Ensure cleanliness of the center, including the lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors - this includes taking out the trash, sweeping and mopping, wiping down equipment, and sanitizing the mat at the end of a shift
Effectively use the KS Coach’s App (iPad) to record class data and provide records of data for parents (attendance, awards, etc.)
Communicate professionally with co-workers and peers
Complete paid training as required by the HQ Training and Certification team
Assist parents of students ages three and younger with the direction and flow of a class
Attend monthly center staff programming meetings for curriculum training and additional mandatory sessions as required by the GM
Help run Coach KidStrong Camp - special classes held by centers when local schools are not operating (for example Winter Break, Summer Break)
Obtain certified status by the HQ Training and Certification team (we provide this training on the clock)
Requirements:
Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Self-starter who just gets a job done

Teachable! (we will get you a coach certification)
Must be able to work in a physically intensive environment
Must be comfortable working "hands-on" with kids to ensure proper technique and ensure student safety
Must be able to ensure classes both start and end on schedule and follow the appropriate pace of curriculum
Nice to have:
Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus but not required!
Ideally we are looking for a coach with athletic or coaching experience who has experience coaching kids ages 12 months to 11 years old
