Job Description:

Join Our Team as a Children Social Worker! Are you an experienced Children's Social Worker? Do you enjoy working with Children and Young People? Are you passionate about supporting them and giving them a better life? Yes? Randstad is recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Cardiff Council for the Children's teams. This is a Full-time role offering a fantastic pay rate. Randstad seeks dedicated individuals to join our Children Social Workers for Cardiff Council team. Please note that sponsorship is not provided for this position.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the needs and risks of children and families
  • Develop and implement care plans to safeguard the welfare of children
  • Provide support and intervention services to children and families in crisis
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including health professionals, educators, and community resources
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulations

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration
  • Experience working within children's services, preferably within a local authority setting
  • Strong communication, assessment, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations
  • Commitment to promoting the welfare and rights of children and families
