Job Responsibility
Work directly with children and young people with Autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex behavioural presentations
Offer a supportive ear, calm presence, and bring fun to their daily lives and activities
Forge positive relationships with young people, their families, and external partners
Tailor your approach to everyone's unique needs and cultural background
Think on your feet and solve problems creatively
Empower and advocate for all children and young people
Requirements
Excellent English language skills are required
Due to the complexities of the role, you will be 25 years of age or over
A resilient individual with strong listening skills and a willingness to learn
Relevant health and social care qualifications in children and young people or a willingness to work towards them
A genuine desire to make a positive impact and a difference to children's lives
Willingness to work a fixed rota, including sleep-ins
You must be able to drive, and a clean Driver's licence with no fault claims is essential
Nice to have
Previous work and/or personal experience is preferred
