Job Description:

Are you a dedicated individual residing in or around Newbiggin-by-the-Sea with a passion for supporting children? We are actively seeking compassionate and experienced Children's Support Workers to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a critical role where your commitment can make a significant difference in the lives of young individuals. Due to the urgent nature of these positions, we encourage qualified candidates who meet all the specified requirements to apply immediately. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide comprehensive care and support to children within a residential setting
  • Implement individual care plans and contribute to the well-being of each child
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure holistic support
  • Document observations and progress accurately and professionally

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience working with children in a UK care home setting is mandatory
  • Must be a UK Citizen or hold Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)
  • Must possess an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service and valid Training Certificates
  • A full UK Driving License is essential for this role
  • Candidates must be local residents living within commuting distance of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
