We're on the hunt for enthusiastic and caring Children's Support Workers to join our team serving the West Newcastle and Newbiggin by the Sea areas. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity to become a positive force in a child's life! What's the role all about? As a Children's Support Worker, you'll be a vital part of providing a stable and nurturing environment for children in residential settings. Your role will involve offering daily support, guidance, and encouragement, helping them to grow and flourish. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about creating a safe and stimulating space for young people.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing consistent day-to-day support to children with emotional and/or behaviour difficulties
  • Helping to create a safe, caring, and engaging environment
  • Assisting children with their daily routines and activities
  • Acting as a positive role model and building strong, trusting relationships
  • Supporting the overall well-being and development of the children

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with emotional and/or behaviour difficulties especially in a residential setting
  • You must be a car driver
  • To be eligible for this role, you need to have indefinite leave to remain in the UK or a valid passport
