We have Full Time positions available, on a rolling rota, on nights or days, at £13.90 per hour + an additional £50 sleeping rate. ... Job Responsibility:

  • Work directly with children and young people with Autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex behavioural presentations
  • Offer a supportive ear, calm presence, and bring fun to their daily lives and activities
  • Forge positive relationships with young people, their families, and external partners
  • Tailor approach to each unique needs and cultural background and actively promote diversity
  • Think on your feet and solve problems creatively
  • Empower and advocate for all children and young people

Requirements:

  • Previous work and/or personal experience is preferred
  • Excellent English language skills
  • 25 years of age or over
  • Resilient individual with strong listening skills and a willingness to learn
  • Relevant health and social care qualifications in children and young people or a willingness to work towards them
  • Genuine desire to make a positive impact
  • Willingness to work a fixed rota, including sleep-ins
  • Must be able to drive with a clean Driver's licence and no fault claims
