Children's Social Worker

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and evaluate risks to the safety and well-being of children
• develop and implement robust child protection plans in collaboration with families, colleagues, and partner agencies
• work closely with families to provide support, guidance, and interventions to address concerns and risks
• liaise with external agencies, legal professionals, and law enforcement to coordinate comprehensive safeguarding efforts
• represent the organization in court proceedings, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
• maintain up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
• participate actively in child protection case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities.

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration
• substantial experience in child protection and safeguarding within a social work setting
• in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child protection
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions in complex situations
• strong organizational and time-management skills.
