Children's Social Worker

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs and strengths of children with disabilities
• Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with the child, family, and multidisciplinary team
• Advocate for the rights and needs of children with disabilities, ensuring equal access to educational and recreational opportunities
• Provide counseling and emotional support to children and their families, addressing the challenges associated with disabilities
• Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care
• Connect families with relevant resources and services, including therapy, support groups, and assistive technologies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress for each child
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions as required

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration
• Experience working with children with disabilities
• Strong understanding of disability legislation, policies, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
