Job Description

As a Children in Care Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people who are looked after by the local authority. You will work to ensure they feel safe, supported, and have every opportunity to thrive. You'll manage a varied caseload, build strong relationships with children and their carers, and work collaboratively with families, professionals, and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Experience working with children in care or similar teams
  • Strong understanding of the Children Act 1989, care planning, and safeguarding frameworks
  • Passion for relationship-based practice and achieving positive outcomes
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
