Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker with a passion for safeguarding the well-being of children? Join our dynamic Child Protection Team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, protection, and support of vulnerable children and their families. We are currently recruiting for the position of Children's Social Worker within our Child Protection Team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify and evaluate risks to the safety and well-being of children
  • Develop and implement robust child protection plans in collaboration with families, colleagues, and partner agencies
  • Work closely with families to provide support, guidance, and interventions to address concerns and risks
  • Liaise with external agencies, legal professionals, and law enforcement to coordinate comprehensive safeguarding efforts
  • Represent the organization in court proceedings, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
  • Maintain up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Participate actively in child protection case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration
  • Substantial experience in child protection and safeguarding within a social work setting
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child protection
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions in complex situations
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
