Job Description:

Children's Service Leader – Shabbat Mornings & Yamim Tovim. Edgware United Synagogue, with 1,800 members and 600 children, is one of the largest congregations in the UK. We cater to a very varied membership and your job will be to get more of our children involved. We seek to recruit a charismatic, engaging and enthusiastic individual with significant experience working with young children, who would like to make a difference to our children’s Shabbat morning experience and have a really positive and profound impact upon our children’s Jewish education and experience. The ideal candidate must be experienced, dynamic and confident in a children's service setting. Services require a lot of imagination and innovation to engage and enthuse the children, so you must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, and charisma to engage and inspire children. Being able to work with others is also incredibly important.
