We are seeking Children’s Residential Support Workers who are dedicated to offering a safe, nurturing environment for children and being a positive, consistent role model in their lives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be a positive role model for the children
  • Offer care and support to children providing structure, consistency, and nurturing
  • Ensure the safety of each child
  • Build effective relationships with the children
  • Support children with routine
  • Join the children in activities and holidays
  • Create meaningful care plans
  • Work together with parents, teachers, therapists, and social workers
  • Write reports
  • Ensure records are kept clear and up to date
  • Help children develop self-esteem
  • Help children develop a feeling of safety
  • Help children develop personal strategies to deal with behaviours that challenge
  • Help children achieve their optimum potential

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
  • References
  • Full employment history review
  • Completed enhanced DBS check
  • Adherence to Safeguarding and GDPR requirements and training
