Job Description:

Empower Family Group is a passionate, child-focused company striving to raise standards across the care sector. We believe every child deserves a nurturing, loving home and the opportunity to thrive. We provide high-quality care in our modern, luxurious solo and dual occupancy homes for children and young people under 18. Our homes are based across Somerset and supported by our friendly head office and training hub at Prockters Farm, West Monkton, Taunton.

Job Responsibility:

Support young people to feel safe, cared for, and inspired
Help build independence, confidence, and life skills
Encourage access to education, activities, and hobbies
Be a role model and positive influence
Create lasting memories through fun, play, and family-style experiences

Requirements:

Caring, resilient, and motivated team players
Experience in Residential Childcare (preferred but not essential)
NVQ Level 2/3 in Residential Childcare or willingness to work toward it
Full UK Driving Licence
Right to work in the UK
Aged 21+ (legal requirement for residential care roles)
Subject to an enhanced DBS check (child & adult workforce, barred list)
Role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974

Nice to have:

Experience in Residential Childcare
NVQ Level 3/4
