We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as ad hoc temporary Children's Residential Support Workers in Greater London and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for flexible work, or seeking to gain valuable experience in a rewarding field.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing a safe, supportive, and caring environment for children and young people
  • Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes, homework, and recreational activities
  • Supporting the emotional and social development of residents
  • Engaging in activities that promote well-being and positive behaviour
  • Working collaboratively with permanent staff members and other professionals
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records

Requirements:

  • Empathy and Compassion: A genuine desire to support and nurture children and young people
  • Resilience: The ability to handle challenging situations with a calm and positive approach
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work various shifts and in different residential settings as needed
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with children, colleagues, and other professionals
  • Teamwork: The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
  • Relevant Experience: You must have a minimum of 6 months UK experience within a children's residential setting
  • DBS on the update service
  • The ability to travel to various locations
