Job Description:

Working in an activity-based residential home specifically designed to support young people aged 8-18 who often face social, emotional & mental health challenges. The service offers a 12-week programme to offer a change of scenery, a break from difficult circumstances, a fresh start and help them to build up their confidence by enforcing positive routines through activities. A strong focus on adventure and staying active is key to the role — think mountain biking, rock climbing, walking, kayaking and much more.

Requirements:

  • Must be over 21
  • Hold a full UK driver’s license
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Ability to work 39 hours per week, adhering to the 4 days on, 8 days off shift pattern, including sleep-ins
  • Build nurturing relationships with young people, providing emotional stability and daily care
  • Lead adventurous activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking, and kayaking
  • Serve as a role model, supporting personal and social development
  • Work within a supportive team to create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
