Job Description

As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll support young people to feel safe, cared for, and inspired, help build independence, confidence, and life skills, encourage access to education, activities, and hobbies, be a role model and positive influence, and create lasting memories through fun, play, and family-style experiences. Salary: £31,199.19 inc. sleep-ins (£12.72/hour + £50 per sleep-in) – without NVQ Level 3/4; £33,176.33 inc. sleep-ins (£13.72/hour + £50 per sleep-in) – with NVQ Level 3/4 (based on average 162 hours per month and inclusive of 10 sleep-ins).

Requirements

  • Caring, resilient, and motivated team players
  • Experience in Residential Childcare (preferred but not essential)
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Residential Childcare or willingness to work toward it
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Aged 21+ (legal requirement for residential care roles)
  • All training provided – including a full induction and ongoing development
