We are opening a brand-new Residential Children’s Home in Knowsley, where children and young people will be empowered through individualised and bespoke packages of nurture, care and support. Overview of the role: Work directly with children and young people with Autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex behavioural presentations. Offer a supportive ear, calm presence, and bring fun to their daily lives and activities. Forge positive relationships with young people, their families, and external partners, creating a supportive network. Tailor your approach to everyone's unique needs and cultural background and actively promote diversity across the service. Think on your feet and solve problems creatively to overcome challenges. Empower and advocate for all children and young people, at every opportunity. Our ideal candidate: Dynamic, energetic, and passionate about making a positive impact on young lives. Previous work and/or personal experience is preferred. However, full training will be provided. Excellent English language skills are required, due to some of the communication impediments and learning difficulties, our children and young people may encompass. Due to the complexities of the role, you will be 25 years of age or over. A resilient individual with strong listening skills and a willingness to learn. Relevant health and social care qualifications in children and young people or a willingness to work towards them. A genuine desire to make a positive impact and a difference to children's lives. Willingness to work a fixed rota, including sleep-ins. You must be able to drive, and a clean Driver's licence with no fault claims is essential. Why Compassionate Care Group?
