Job Description:

Children's Activity Area Co-Worker position at IKEA's Småland play facility, responsible for creating a safe and fun environment for children while their parents shop. Part-time position focusing on childcare, activity planning, and customer service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contribute to creating a pleasant and safe environment for children
  • Register children, monitor and entertain children while in the playroom
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Participate in planning and execution of children's activities
  • Build meaningful relationships with children and caretakers
  • Adhere to safety & security policies
  • Support other customer experience functions as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience in retail or childcare preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification training provided
  • Physical Demands: Lifting and Carrying Occasionally (1-25lbs)
