Job Description:

At IKEA, we are a very family-friendly retailer, providing Småland as a place for kids while their caretakers shop. As a Children’s Activity Area Associate, you will contribute to creating a safe and pleasant environment, entertain children, maintain hygiene, and support additional customer experience functions.

Job Responsibility:

Contribute to creating a pleasant and safe environment for children
Register children, monitor and entertain children in the playroom, and maintain hygiene
Participate in planning and executing children’s activities
Build meaningful relationships with children and caretakers
Adhere to safety and security policies in the play facility
Support customer experience functions, such as cashier and greeter roles

Requirements:

Experience in retail or childcare preferred
CPR and First Aid certification training provided
Physical Demands: Lifting and Carrying Occasionally (1-25lbs)
