Children Law Solicitor to join a busy and supportive team handling meaningful, often sensitive work where your contribution genuinely matters. You’ll work with a broad client base, covering both privately funded and legally aided matters, and will be trusted early on with real responsibility, including advocacy. The role would suit someone who is confident with clients, comfortable in court, and motivated by helping families navigate complex and challenging situations.
Job Responsibility:
Advising and acting for clients on Children Law and domestic abuse matters
Court advocacy and representation at hearings
Running and progressing files efficiently using a case management system
Supporting colleagues within the Children team as needed
Building relationships with referrers, professionals and local contacts
Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor or experienced Paralegal with hands-on experience in Children Law
Strong communication skills and a confident, professional manner
The ability to manage deadlines, diaries and competing priorities
A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
