Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Advanced Practitioner to join our Children in Care team based in Cheltenham.

Job Responsibility

  • Hold an expert and influential role within the team
  • Support development and delivery of high-quality complex social work practice
  • Model relational systemic practice approach
  • Provide direction and constructive challenge to team members
  • Quality assure assessments, undertake joint visits, support reflective discussion
  • Provide professional oversight within the team
  • Offer guidance, mentoring and support to social workers
  • Provide monthly reflective supervision to NQSWs
  • Support learning and development of Social Work students
  • Jointly lead on a specific area of practice offering weekly consultation
  • Work closely with Social Work Academy
  • Hold a small number of cases

Requirements

  • Full driving licence and willingness to drive
  • DBS clearance (Enhanced Adults and Children’s)
  • Completed ASYE year (if qualified after 2012)
