Randstad is looking for a Children & Family Social Worker in East Lothian to provide support and protection to vulnerable children and families.

Job Responsibility

  • Carry out comprehensive family assessments to determine risks and needs
  • Implement care plans that focus on the best interests of children
  • Support children in care and work to achieve permanent, stable placements
  • Provide intervention and support to families experiencing crisis
  • Liaise with schools, healthcare providers, and community organisations

Requirements

  • Social Work qualification and SSSC registration
  • Experience in child protection and family support
  • Ability to work collaboratively and engage with resistant families
