Job Description:

We are looking for a committed and compassionate Children and Families Social Worker with a strong focus on child protection to join a dynamic team in Falkirk. In this vital role, you will work directly with children, young people, and their families, providing essential support and safeguarding vulnerable individuals.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct assessments and develop care plans for children and families in line with statutory frameworks and policies
Undertake child protection investigations and manage cases requiring child protection plans
Provide direct support to children and families, focusing on their safety, wellbeing, and development
Work collaboratively with schools, health professionals, and other agencies to deliver a multi-agency approach to child protection
Attend case reviews, core group meetings, and legal proceedings as required
Maintain accurate records and prepare high-quality reports for court and other purposes

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker
SSSC registered in the Social Work part of the register
Car driver
