Job Description

Job Responsibility

  • You will create, deliver and supervise a fun and exciting age-appropriate programme for children aged 0-12 & Teens which covers developmental needs and is full of magical moments
  • Lead an international team in a fun, safe environment by coaching, guiding, and managing team performance in addition to celebrating success using weekly guest feedback
  • Take part and collaborate with the wider hotel team in regular events, such as team days, daytime activities and evening entertainment party dances
  • You also ensure that health and safety standards are always maintained to the highest standards, as set out in the TUI childcare handbook
  • You will support your colleagues by answering parents/guardians’ questions and solving problems

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children in a similar supervisory position. Ideally within a fast-paced and/or hotel resort environment
  • A formal childcare qualification is helpful but not required
  • You have a fun and outgoing personality with the confidence to engage and connect with children of all ages through active and playful interactions
  • Demonstrate capability to facilitate sessions whilst holding the full responsibility for the children in your care
  • You have experience in leading, supporting and supervising colleagues and can communicate confidently with international colleagues, children & parents/guardians
  • Willingness to learn and commit, as well as being an adaptable and flexible individual with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Excel, Teams, Word and Outlook to support communication and administration
  • You're flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends, and bring enthusiasm to activities like kid's discos and evening entertainment sessions
  • You are fully conversational in English
  • additional languages will be helpful, and you are willing to work as part of an international team
