Job Description:

Childcare Manager to lead their city centre creche in Exeter. The client is a people-centric childcare provider, committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive and engaging environment for children, families and employees. Job Responsibility:

  • Building, leading and developing a diverse and customer-focused childcare team
  • Creating strong working relationships with colleagues, leadership and the local community
  • Ensuring the safety, wellbeing and security of all children attending the setting
  • Planning and delivering engaging, educational and entertaining activities
  • Leading the team in creative programming and continuous development of the setting
  • Championing our values at all times
  • Completing basic administrative tasks and using Microsoft Office 365 as required

Requirements:

  • A minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
  • Experience in a senior role within a nursery or crèche setting
  • A proven track record of building and developing teams
  • Experience working with children aged 3–10 years
  • Strong customer service, hospitality or wellness experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to develop a clear vision for the site with creative programming
  • Confidence working with parents, colleagues and external partners
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to complete basic admin tasks
