Job Description:

Do you love cooking and meal preparation? Have you considered using your skills within a childcare environment? We have Cook roles available now across Brighton and surrounding suburbs. A huge benefit of working as a cook / chef, within the childcare industry is no weekend work or late night shifts. You will need to be confident in working along and preparing up to 3 meals per day for a large number of children. In addition to cooking, your knowledge may be required in aspects of menu planning and nutrition guidance.

Job Responsibility:

Working independently and preparing up to 3 meals per day for a large number of children
Menu planning and providing nutrition guidance

Requirements:

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred
Experience working in childcare, aged care, or hospitals highly regarded
Safe Food Handling Certificate
Available a minimum of 2 shifts per week
Willingness to travel to different locations around your area
Australian work rights and a willingness to gain your state-based Working with Children Card
First Aid certificate is highly regarded
