Child Welfare Caseworker PRN - Casual, Part-time

Provide the appropriate response necessary, including both virtual and in-person, to address exigent placement needs, safety controls and crisis response needed after-hours for both the In Home Services and Ongoing Services programs

• Knowledge acquired through a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) or equivalent (Sociology, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling or Guidance and Counseling) required
• One year of experience in the delivery of educational training, employment services, vocational counseling, social services or related field preferred
• Child welfare experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds strongly preferred
• Requires a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, personal auto liability insurance coverage and the ability to be insured by the CHHS auto insurance carrier
• Must use personal vehicle to transport children, complete in-house car seat transporter training within one month of hire and re-train biannually thereafter to maintain
• You may need to respond in person - this is a part-time on-call position

Social Work certification preferred

Eligible shift differential and on-call pay
