Job Responsibility:
Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Create a safe, nurturing environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth
Collaborate with a dynamic team to create engaging curriculum
Requirements:
At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
5 years teaching experience in group child care setting, must be willing to obtain CDA
OR BA/AA in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field
or CDA with one year experience in group child care setting
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children
An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children
An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children
Candidates must pass required state and company background checks
