Job Responsibility:

Monitor program quality, ensuring children’s learning is documented and visible
Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, health and safety protocols, and company policies
Support the Center Director with daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and in accordance with our high standards and guidelines
Administration and educational programming
Mentoring teachers
Welcoming new families
Provide center supervision, curriculum delivery, business management, and customer and client services
Temporarily serve as a supervising caregiver for relatively brief periods of time on an as-needed basis
Requirements:
Candidates must pass required state and company background checks
Meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
Associate or higher degree in early childhood education, education, or child development related field is required

Must meet one of the following requirements: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children
Or A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children
Or An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children
Or An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 4 years of experience with children
At least two years of leadership experience in high-quality child care, daycare, or preschool settings is required
Strong understanding of center quality, compliance, health, safety and licensing standards is required
Must be willing to commute at least 1.5 hours each way to a center/school for temporary assignments in the Philadelphia/Wilmington/Camden area
