Job Description:

Manages daily operations for kitchen staff and supervises kitchen utility operations. Ensures compliance with food handling, sanitation standards, and property policies. Leads employees, communicates performance expectations, and improves guest satisfaction while achieving operational goals.

Job Responsibility:

Manages daily kitchen utility operations and staff
orders and manages supplies
schedules events, programs, and activities
conducts inventories of china, glass, and silver
controls food, equipment, and liquor inventories
supervises employees to follow loss prevention policies
enforces proper cleaning routines
ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
recruits, interviews, and hires employees
trains employees in safety procedures
communicates performance expectations
monitors employee performance

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in the procurement, food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
2 years experience in the procurement, food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
