We are looking for an experienced and visionary Chief People Officer to lead the strategic and operational aspects of human resources within our organization. This role focuses on fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and growth while ensuring compliance with HR policies and advancing initiatives centered on equity and social justice. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, this position offers a unique opportunity to shape workforce strategies in alignment with organizational goals.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee all core HR operations, including payroll management, recruitment strategies, employee relations, benefits administration, and policy updates
Collaborate with executive leadership and legal teams to address workplace policies, labor relations, and internal investigations
Implement and optimize new HR technologies while ensuring compliance with evolving employment laws and regulations
Lead development initiatives and manage programming for the Consortium for Development
Develop and execute strategies to promote staff appreciation, wellness, diversity, equity, and inclusion
Drive workforce planning and talent management initiatives to support organizational growth
Establish metrics to evaluate HR effectiveness and ensure alignment with organizational goals
Serve as a key advisor to leadership on human capital strategy and organizational change
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development across all levels of the organization
Requirements:
At least 10–15 years of HR leadership experience, with a minimum of 8 years managing mid-to-large teams
Proven track record in the public sector or government roles is highly desirable
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required
a Master’s degree is preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of HR compliance, policies, and employment laws
Strong expertise in employee relations, benefits administration, and talent management
Proficiency in implementing HR technologies and systems
Exceptional leadership and communication skills to influence and engage diverse teams
Residency within the city of Boston is required
