We are looking for an experienced Chief of Staff to provide structure, momentum, and cross-functional coordination for high-impact initiatives on a contract basis for an organization located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Job Responsibility
Lead cross-department initiatives from planning through delivery, ensuring timelines, priorities, and outcomes remain aligned with business goals
Build and maintain project plans, status updates, and governance materials that give leaders clear visibility into progress, risks, and next steps
Partner with executive stakeholders and operational teams to coordinate decisions, remove blockers, and keep critical efforts on track
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and follow-up actions that improve collaboration and accountability across multiple functions
Apply structured project management methods to manage scope, dependencies, resource needs, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
Support Agile ways of working by helping teams organize priorities, monitor sprint-related progress, and adapt to changing business needs
Identify delivery risks early and implement practical mitigation strategies to reduce disruption and maintain momentum
Prepare concise communications and executive-ready summaries that translate complex project details into clear recommendations and actions
Requirements
Proven experience leading complex projects or strategic initiatives in a project management or chief of staff capacity
Strong knowledge of formal project management practices, including planning, governance, risk tracking, and stakeholder reporting
Demonstrated success coordinating work across multiple business functions and leadership levels
Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
Ability to influence outcomes, build alignment, and drive execution in fast-paced settings
