Job Description

Ema is building the Universal AI Employee. Our platform allows enterprises to deploy autonomous AI Employees that execute complex, high-stakes workflows across HR, Finance, Customer Support, Sales, and beyond. We are redefining the future of work. As we scale globally, we are looking for a Chief of Staff to the COO to architect Ema itself as an AI-first organization. You will join a high-octane team backed by top-tier investors (including Accel, Section 32, and Prosus) to move beyond "AI-enhanced" and into the realm of "AI-native." This is your chance to build the operational blueprint for the world’s first truly AI-first enterprise.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and operationalize the frameworks to scale Ema from 10 to 100+ employees globally without losing speed or culture
  • Act as a "Product Manager" for internal functions. Use Ema’s products and other AI tools to automate Finance, Recruiting, HR, Marketing, etc.
  • Scale Partnership operations globally and lead the charge on high-stakes events, analyst engagement (Gartner/Forrester), market research and helping the COO manage multiple marketing functions
  • Own high-impact "Zero-to-One" initiatives directly for the COO - e.g., investor relations support, compliance, the management of our London hub etc.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years at a top-tier consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain)
  • MBA and an engineering degree from top tier schools
  • Proven experience in a Founder’s Office or Strategy & Ops role within a high-growth tech environment
  • You have a "Product Mindset" and can vibe code—using AI to build tools, scripts, and automations to solve operational bottlenecks
  • You are a "low ego, high impact" leader who can pivot from board decks to office management in minutes
  • Comfortable managing across time zones
  • a relentless owner who thrives in ambiguity
