Job Description

As Chief of Staff to the Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll be the strategic and operational right hand to the CMO and the marketing leadership team. You’ll help run marketing like a high-performance operating system—driving clarity, focus, and execution across all disciplines: Growth, Brand, Lifecycle, Product Marketing, and Marketing Operations. Your mission is to turn strategy into impact—aligning people, plans, and performance. You’ll lead strategic planning, build data-driven decision frameworks, and ensure marketing runs efficiently, insightfully, and at scale. This role is ideal for a generalist with sharp strategic instincts, operational rigor, and a deep passion for building systems that enable creativity and growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with the CMO and marketing leadership to define strategic priorities and translate them into clear, measurable operational plans
  • Drive annual and quarterly marketing planning, OKRs, and scorecards that align to company growth goals
  • Lead cross-functional alignment with Sales, Product, Finance, and RevOps to ensure marketing priorities are resourced and executed effectively
  • Own the marketing operating rhythm: run weekly business reviews, quarterly planning cycles, and ongoing performance updates
  • Build scalable systems and frameworks for project prioritization, resource allocation, and budget management
  • Design and optimize marketing workflows that improve collaboration, reduce friction, and enhance execution speed
  • Build and lead the analytics engine: forecast pipeline, model ROI, optimize channel mix, and drive investment decisions through data
  • Partner with Marketing Ops to develop trusted attribution models (MMM, MTA) and executive dashboards that connect spend to revenue
  • Lead business reviews that distill complex data into clear insights and actionable narratives
  • Act as the “integrator” across marketing sub-functions—ensuring strategic initiatives land on time, within scope, and with clear accountability
  • Support CMO and marketing leadership in operational matters: vendor management, capacity forecasting, and high-ROI initiative prioritization
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer teams to translate go-to-market strategy into coordinated execution
  • Attract top-tier talent to join our driven team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking or a growth role within a high-growth startup
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to turn complex data into clear business decisions
  • Proven success driving operational excellence—building systems for planning, accountability, and performance management
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills
  • comfortable working across executive and functional teams
  • High ownership and bias for action: proactive, resourceful, and unafraid to roll up your sleeves
  • Thrives in ambiguity, loves solving hard problems, and brings energy and clarity to complexity
  • Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week

What we offer

  • Equity in the company
  • Medical, Dental and Vision premiums covered at 100%
  • Fully paid parental leave
  • Commuter benefits
  • 401k benefits
  • Fitness & home services stipend to cover part of your expenses so you can focus on what matters
  • A collaborative in-office environment with an open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen, and all meals covered in the office
  • Unlimited vacation and paid holidays
  • We'll cover relocation packages and make the move exciting, not painful!
