Job Description

The Chief of Staff, Marketing will work directly with marketing leadership to run the operating rhythm of the organization, keeping priorities clear, information flowing, and projects on track.

Job Responsibility

  • Owning internal communications on behalf of marketing leadership, including orchestrating team newsletters, weekly communications, and running both the weekly team meeting and staff meeting
  • Enabling cross-team collaboration by streamlining campaign calendar programming, coordinating bi-annual offsites, managing meeting notes, and ensuring review items are routed effectively
  • Building strategic narratives through compelling decks for multiple purposes, including influence, education, and feedback, tailored to stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional partners
  • Developing deep product and market understanding by quickly ramping up on the line of business, consumer landscape, and competitive environment
  • Managing the data science partnership, including day-to-day analytics prioritization, critically evaluating findings, and collaborating to distill data into clear, actionable stories
  • Facilitating information sharing across workstreams to foster a culture of transparency and continuous learning

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in chief of staff, marketing operations, program/project leadership, or strategic communications roles
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to craft clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accountability across workstreams
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to quickly ramp up on new product areas and market landscapes
  • Experience working in or closely with marketing, communications, or cross-functional operations teams
  • Comfort working with data and partnering with analytics teams
  • ability to think critically about findings and translate them into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in building executive-level presentations and decks
  • Ability to lead through influence and build strong relationships across teams with varied personalities
