Job Description:

The Chief of Staff for the MAI Content organization is a strategic partner to the leadership team, driving operational excellence, enabling effective decision-making, and fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture. This role is pivotal in aligning cross-functional initiatives, managing business rhythms, and ensuring seamless execution of strategic priorities across engineering and product domains.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner closely with MAI Content Leadership to drive strategic planning, execution, and alignment
  • Lead special projects and initiatives that span across the MAI Content teams. These include both strategic efforts and project execution that brings direct value to our customers
  • Lead and manage business rhythms including leadership meetings, all-hands, and planning cycles
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely execution of key priorities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to leadership, enabling clarity and focus
  • Manage communications and change management across the organization
  • Support organizational health efforts, including culture, inclusion, and team effectiveness
  • Coordinate with finance, Human Resources, and other support functions to ensure operational efficiency. This includes Position Control Number (PCN) and Headcount (HC) management as well as communication to hiring managers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources or business-related roles
  • OR equivalent experience

Nice to have:

  • Master of Business Administration Degree in relevant field (e.g., Engineering)
  • Proven experience with excel (spreadsheets)
  • Proven experience in Chief of Staff, program management, or strategic operations roles within technical or product organizations
  • Proven understanding of engineering and product development processes
